    Function Principle

    The AS 200 jet is equipped with a rotating slotted nozzle. The sieve and lid are placed above the nozzle. A vacuum generates a strong jet of air which disperses the particles on the sieve through the slotted nozzle. The material which is smaller than the mesh size of the sieve is transported by the back flow of the air to the cyclone or to the vacuum cleaner. The air jet helps to deagglomerate the particles and constantly purges the sieve mesh.

    In the AS 200 tap, mechanical action is applied to the test sieves in two dimensions. In addition to a horizontal circular motion with 280 oscillations, a vertical tapping motion with 150 taps per minute helps the particles to pass the sieve apertures.     The base plate of the AS 400 control performs horizontal circular motions with a radius of 15 mm (according to DIN 53477). The speed of 50 to 300 rpm is electronically controlled. It is continuously adjustable to meet the requirements of the product to be sieved. The actual value of the number of revolutions is digitally displayed.     Function Principle

    The Jaw Crusher BB 600 is a robust and powerful jaw crusher. The feed material passes through the no-rebound hopper and enters the crushing chamber.

    Size reduction takes place in the wedge-shaped area between the fixed breaking jaw and the movable breaking jaw driven by an eccentric drive shaft. The elliptical motion crushes the sample which then moves downwards under gravity.

    On reaching the discharge gap width, it falls into a removable collector or, for continuous applications, on a conveyor belt, vibratory feeder or sampler.

    The CryoMill is tailored for cryogenic grinding. The grinding jar is continually cooled with liquid nitrogen from the integrated cooling system before and during the grinding process. Thus the sample is embrittled and volatile components are preserved. The liquid nitrogen circulates through the system and is continually replenished from an Autofill system in the exact amount which is required to keep the temperature at -196 °C.
    Powerful impact ball milling results in a perfect grinding efficiency. The Autofill system avoids direct contact with LN2 and makes cryogenic grinding very safe. Its versatility (cryogenic, wet and dry grinding at room temperature) makes the CryoMill the ideal grinder for quantities up to 20 ml.

    Function Principle

    Function Principle

    In the DM 200 the feed material enters the dust proof chamber from the filling hopper and is fed centrally between two vertical grinding discs. A moving grinding disc rotates against a fixed one and draws in the feed material. The necessary comminution effects are generated by pressure and frictional forces.
